Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens)
6 Palo Santo Sticks, sizes vary from approximately 4.5 - 6.5 inches.
Palo Santo has been used as an incense or tea for centuries by Shamans and healers for it's purifying, cleansing, and medicinal properties.
The rich beneficial oils in this wood release a fine citrus aroma with underlying notes of Frankincense, a close relative.
Also known as "Holy Stick", Palo Santo is a sacred natural wood which is sustainably harvested from the fallen Bursera Graveolens tree in Peru and Ecuador. In fact, much of the magic of Palo Santo is derived through the alchemical process which occurs once the tree has died of natural causes. Before harvesting, the tree must remain in it's natural habitat for the next 4-10 years as it undergoes it's metamorphosis for it's sacred medicinal and mystical properties to come alive.
